YOU MUST READ THE BELOW TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND THEN CONFIRM THIS IN THE BOOKING PROCESS ONLINE

1. OUR DOGS AND GUEST DOGS By signing this consent, you agree for your dog to stay for daycare, interact, and socialise with both the resident dogs of Waggy Tails and guest dogs from various households.

  • We are licensed to host up to 15 Dogs for Daycare at our Plympton Facility.

2. ENRICHMENT AND EXERCISE You consent to your dog being exercised alongside both resident and guest dogs during their stay.

  • Freedom Indoors and Outdoors:

    • Indoors: Dogs have access to most rooms, toys, and cozy bedding. They can snuggle with us on the sofas or play independently.

    • Outdoors: Our daycare facility has no outdoor space. Our daily walks take place at Peacock Meadow which is located within 2 minutes walk from the facility.

  • Physical Activity: Dogs new to daycare or boarding may engage in more physical and mental activity than they’re used to, resulting in increased tiredness afterward.

3. YOUNG DOGS UNDER 1 YEAR OLD If your dog is under a year old, you consent to their participation in daycare with other puppies.

·         Females over 12 weeks are welcome if they are 14+ days past their vaccinations.

  • We’ll provide personalized care for your puppy’s needs, including rest, exercise, and attention.

4. VACCINATIONS, FLEAS, AND WORMING Your dog must have up-to-date vaccinations (DHP and Leptospirosis) or a Titer test to confirm immunity. Flea and worm treatments must also be current.

  • Proof of vaccination or booster is required before arrival.

  • Puppies and dogs restarting vaccinations must complete them two weeks prior to their stay or Daycare appointments.

5. KENNEL COUGH VACCINATION The kennel cough vaccine is optional, but specific waiting periods apply if it is administered.

  • Waiting times vary based on the type of vaccine:

    • Nasal: 6–11 weeks depending on the brand.

    • Oral: 10 weeks.

    • Injectable: No wait required.

6. HEALTH CONDITIONS AND IVDD By registering, you confirm your dog has been free from contagious diseases or injuries for at least 60 days.

  • We cannot guarantee against IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease) episodes, but we take extensive precautions to minimize risk.

  • If your dog becomes unwell before or during their stay or daycare appointment, we may have to cancel their booking.

  • Dogs requiring bladder expression or mobility aids cannot be accommodated.

7. MEDICATION If your dog requires medication, please provide it along with clear instructions.

8. INTACT AND NEUTERED DOGS

  • Males: Intact and neutered males are welcome.

  • Females: Intact females are welcome unless they are in season or expected to go into season.

If your dog enters a season during their stay, we will require immediate pickup, and bookings will be cancelled. Refunds are not available in these cases. You will be contacted via phone and we will ensure your dog is in a safe concealed area until collected.

9. UNSOCIABLE/UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOURS You consent for your dog to be separated from other dogs if issues arise.

These behaviours negatively affect the safety and happiness of others. If necessary, we may separate your dog to prevent further problems. If we determine that your dog poses a significant risk, we reserve the right to cancel your booking (or the remainder of it). In such cases, we will request you or your Emergency Accommodation Person collect your dog the same day we notify you. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for details.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Severe separation anxiety: Extreme distress in your absence, e.g., excessive barking, howling, or refusal to socialise. In such cases, a homesitter may be a kinder option.

  • Resource guarding: Aggressive behaviour regarding toys, food, or other resources.

  • Aggression towards other dogs: We cannot accommodate dogs with a history of aggression towards our resident or guest dogs.

  • Aggression towards humans: Includes nipping, snapping, growling, or biting.

  • Excessive behaviours: Such as obsessive focus on other dogs, excessive humping, barking, or dominance (e.g., challenging or dominating other dogs during play or over resources).

  • Untrained or lacking manners: Inability to follow commands without bribery, hyperactivity, or excessive avoidance/fear (e.g., refusal to be approached or handled).

  • Not house-trained: Puppies under 1 year old are exempt from this requirement.

10. FEEDING – We do not feed your dogs whilst at Daycare. Please ensure a morning meal is given to them at home before arriving. We will allow treats to be given in the day with your consent.

11. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS  - Not applicable as we are not Dog Boarders.

12. HUMAN COMPANY 24/7 You consent for your dog to be separated or grouped with other dogs in emergencies.

We provide constant care for all dogs. In rare emergencies requiring us to leave, emergency carers will step in.

13. EMERGENCY CONTACT 

By signing, you confirm that your designated Emergency Contact are aware of their roles.

13.1 Emergency Contact This person will act on your behalf in medical emergencies if you’re unreachable. Ensure they:

  • Are not you or your partner.

  • Are contactable during your absence.

  • Understand they may need to make health decisions for your dog.

13.2 Emergency Contact continued This person agrees to collect and care for your dog if it needs to leave our premises. Ensure they:

  • Understand they may need to accommodate your dog.

  • Are within a reasonable distance from Waggy Tails Daycare Facility.

If they are unavailable, we may involve the Dog Warden, who will arrange foster care until your return. You will be responsible for associated charges. Refer to our Cancellation Policy for details.

14. VETERINARY INTERVENTION You must sign the Vet Release Form.

While we prioritize safety, group settings may lead to accidents or illness. If required, we will contact you or your Emergency Contact to decide on the best course of action. We cannot be held liable for incidents unless caused by gross negligence, in which case medical bills will be covered under our liability insurance.

15. REGISTRATION FORM By completing the Registration Form, you confirm agreement with our Terms and Conditions (This Document) at the time of booking. You may update your information if needed.

16. PAYMENTS For Daycare, payments are accepted online at waggytailsdaycare.co.uk or via card payment at our Daycare facility.

17. BOOKINGS With limited spaces, early booking is recommended. Bookings are confirmed upon payment on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Daycare:

    • Full payment due at booking either Online or at the Daycare facility.

18. Cancellation Policy Cancellations affect our ability to accommodate other bookings, so refunds are typically not provided to ensure the smooth operation of Waggy Tails.

18.1 Non-Refundable Payments Booking payments are non-refundable and non-transferable if:

  • We cancel your booking due to:

    1. Your dog being in or coming into season.

    2. An infectious health issue affecting your dog.

    3. Non-payment of the final balance by the due date and lack of communication from you.

    4. Unsociable or unacceptable behaviors from your dog (see Section 5 of the Terms & Conditions).

18.2 Unforeseen Emergencies (Pre-Arrival) If we are unable to fulfill your booking due to an emergency on our part, we will inform you promptly to allow alternative arrangements. A full refund will be provided.

19. Photos and Videos We capture moments of the dogs in our care to share with owners and may use them on social media while ensuring no personal identifiers are visible. All media are the property of Waggy Tails and may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. Please inform us upon booking if you do not wish for your dog’s photos to be shared on Social Media.

20. Collars and ID Tags For safety, are left on whilst at Daycare. Leads will be hung up on your dog’s peg however collars and harnesses must remain on.

21. Reservation of Rights We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw services for any dog at any time without prior notice. By using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, which may be updated without notice.

22. Disclaimer: We may recommend third-party providers for services like training or home boarding at your request or our discretion. However, it is your responsibility to ensure their suitability, and we hold no liability for their services.

23. Personal Data We keep your Registration Form for three years or longer if services continue. Personal details are not shared without consent, except for professional courtesy with your veterinarian. Notify us if you do not wish for this information to be shared.

24. Liability Waggy Tails Doggy Daycare is not liable for damages exceeding the replacement value of your dog or for consequential damages.

25. Governing Law These Terms & Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales, with exclusive jurisdiction to its courts for disputes.
